Dear Second Grade Parents,
It's Fiesta weekend! I hope you all have a chance to come to fiesta. There wasn't much activity going on with the children here on Thursday during school but as soon as they left everyone got busy working. The teachers were all amazed at how much got done while we were in our meeting.
Mothers, I hope you all have a wonderful Mother's Day and enjoy the gifts and cards your children made for you with love.
The students will begin a Moon project on Tuesday, May 15th. They will be given a calendar with the dates written in and they need to record what the moon looks like for each day. It will be due on Tuesday, June 12th.
If it is a cloudy night and they cannot see the moon, they need to write cloudy in the box. Otherwise, they just need to draw what the moon looks like for each day. They should see all phases of the moon.
Our third group of students will be making their First Communion on Saturday, May 19th. Practice will take place on Thursday, May 17th at 6:30 instead of 7:00.
The following week is the Talent Show on Thursday, May 24th. Once again the teachers will be performing.
I hope to see you all there. The next day, Friday, May 25th is Sports-A-Rama. This is a good time to start working on your service hours for next year!
